In a just world you’d be just a bartender!

I didn't say all. The party as a whole though? Yes, it sure as hell is denying climate change.

Umm... that's the same thing dude. A "party" doesn't believe something. Individuals do.

Not a whatbaoutism, it was a direct pointing out of hypocrisy. Or at least an example of how that "offense" of hers wasn't even remotely unusual.

Yes, it's actually the definition of whataboutism on display. And it's also not a hypocrisy unless you think I proposed the wall. That or you're pointing out totally irrelevant hypocrisy because what Trump says has no bearing on this conversation.

Pick the way in which what you said is wrong, I'll let you choose. But there is no choice where you're not wrong available.

An FAQ is a summary, not the actual thing. Also, maybe they deleted it because the summary was wrong. Also also: ""eliminate emissions from cows or air travel" is not the same as proposing to eliminate air travel. Pretending otherwise is dishonest.

Right. It summarizes her beliefs, plans, hopes, and positions. My criticism of her is that she believes crazy shit and she's an idiot. The FAQ she published on her website is demonstrating I'm right. I don't actually care if it's in the FAQ or the actual legislation if my criticism is she's a moron. I just care that she's being a moron all over the place.

"Somebody I disagree with must be an idiot."

Nope. But she is. Because she believes stupid things, doesn't understand basic economics, and proves it day in and day out.

You're not going to ever be able to reach an understanding with other people when you ignore their clarifications about what they meant, and instead continue arguing about the things you think they said.

I haven't done that.

"Hockett [her policy advisor] said Ocasio-Cortez does not endorse the idea of paying people “unwilling to work” and does not want to ban airplane travel."

That's not a clarification. That's walking a policy that turns out to be insanely unpopular back. She still believes it. She is just trying to hide that because it's bad for business as a politician.

Are you really arguing that I should trust politicians? I'm aware of the game they play.

Maybe take them at their word for what they want, since apparently miscommunications can happen.

This isn't a miscommunication and you know it.
