'Justice League': Joss Whedon Officially Getting Co-Writing Credit

Pa Kent doesn't urge Clark to let other people die to protect himself, and Superman--even young Superman--damn sure doesn't just stand there and watch anyone die, much less his own father

pa kent does whatever it takes to protect clarks secret so the government or people like lex don't get to him before he's ready and kill him/create something horrible by using him like doomsday

sorry but that's a realistic reaction from jonathon to say "maybe" but even clark looks at him like he's ridiculous

much less his own father

yeah i'm not a big fan of that scene, I could imagine jonathon telling him not to like in smallville when he makes a deal with jor-el to bring clark back and reduces his health

but i don't know if I could imagine a clark even a teenage one who's unsure of himself doing that

Nobody can believe he would ever do such a thing

uhh batman and the questions keep saying he could

They built up to that from Superman's lifetime of representing hope for the hopeless

well there's people who like superman and he means that to them in BvS, i'm sorry lex is actually an effective villain who plays the media/batman against superman instead of just going after real estate?

is this version they're starting off with a realistic reaction to a villain who is actually threatening like Zod in which superman will push through and make friends with other metahumans

deal with it

"You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun, Kal. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders"
