I called you a douche for prioritizing Realpolitik over justice. Republicans are fucking lizard people that deny crimes we can all see. We shouldn't bend over and play the political game to appease cretins that turn their eyes away when we have evidence of fucking concentration camps at the border.

Even if we wanted to play that game, playing the centrist card wont work. Trump was elected as a populist to shake up the Washington establishment. It has been left-of-center Democrats that have been proposing policies that directly help the blue-collar/lower-middle-class voters (Medicare for all, universal basic income, etc.) that can tip swing states in favor of Democrats. People like Clinton, Joe Biden, are all talk and no action, and are completely bought out by corporate donors.

Corporate Dems have been trying to appeal to Republicans/Centrists since the 90s. That got us the Iraq War and a financial crisis caused by deregulation. The idea that the non-centrist left "doesn't care about the regular folk" is nonsense. Most Americans, when polled, are for the left-of-center issues (single-payer healthcare, stopping unnecessary, illegal, offensive wars. etc.) when the polls are constructed in a certain way (e.g., mentioning "Medicare-for-All" instead of "socialized healthcare").
