My goal was never to troll you, my goal was to point out how absurd it is to call any species by its statistical outliers or small subset of the whole.

You call them 180 pound killing machines, but it's wrong. They aren't 180 pound killing machines any more than humans are 400 pound couch potatoes, or airplanes are flying deathtraps, or vaccines kill people.

In each of those cases, I can describe the entire group of those things by using outliers, but in each case I am deliberately misrepresenting what they actually are. Why is it so offensive to you that I pointed out that you did this? Why can't you just say, "Oh, hey, you're right, I was wrong about how big the average wolf is."? In the post you're replying to, I was perfectly willing to acknowledge that I was wrong about how big they can get. And yet you're so bitter about the fact that I both refuse to say that wolves are 180 pound killing machines and keep insisting you were wrong to call them that. Why? What is so hard about recanting a statement you made? Are you that insecure?
