This has nothing to do with what that dude said. Being critical of artists or media isn't bad. Fans just bat a blind eye to whatever the artist does. Stuff artists do or say affect the albums for people whether you believe it or not.

I was listening pharcyde's first album. The opening song becomes hella transphobic at the end. And to top it all off the rapper fatlip would talk about it in a documentary about him going on a date with a trans woman and physically assaults her once finding out she is trans. But leaves after beating up.

Now fans can say couple of things to defend that:

It was back then or whatever

Its a classic album

Stop getting offended
