Kansas City Police targeted minority neighborhoods to meet illegal ticket quotas, lawsuit says

The issue with systemic racism is that the chips have already fallen. Everyone starts equal now but they didn't before. A lot of your wealth and opportunity and access to education comes from your parents, which is why a higher percentage of black people are in poverty vs white people.

Nobody disagrees on that unless they're a complete moron. The debate arises regarding how we address that issue. The "woke" crowd is happy to throw white people under the bus for present day opportunities because perceived privilege (which not all white people have). There are also arguments that merely by appearing white you gain privilege, which may be true but there is a good percentage of the woke crowd that uses this alone as justification as to why black people should have priority access to education/jobs/opportunities, even over poor white people.

A lot of the right disagree with that and I do as well.

Honestly to fix the system they need to do affirmative action based on wealth alone, and in the case of children, their families wealth.
