Loved the first half of the comment. Made a lot of sense to me and it really made me challenge my train of thought on this idea. I guess my only response would be that the ability to entertain ideas that are true only under certain circumstances is free thinking. Much like how many philosophers believe in individual truths, I believe there is an individual truth to what Kanye is saying - just under certain circumstances. Like if you take away his analogy to conditioning, my entire argument falls apart because that's what I'm tying that ideas too. You are arguing that we need first validate what he is saying is true before accepting anything else. While I respect and understand that view point, I disagree. I believe we should hear everything out first, then try to construct any truths from it.
