When I worked @ an Italian supermarket when I was younger, some lady wrote a check for $36.75 for a bill that was $36.25. (She wanted .50 cents back for some reason, no problem I guess, ppl need quarters for off-sight laundry units or whatever else, happens all the time ). After I processed the check, she handed me an extra pile of change(a few dimes) and still expecting 2 quarters back. Then asked “if I knew how to count”. Look lady, you’re batshit crazy , writing a check over the bill amount then giving me a few dimes after. Manager came and set her straight for making things weird. I remember the amount because we made fun of her for a whole week after.
