Kate Ferguson - "CONFIRMED: Labour MPs have been told they are being whipped to back a second referendum on super Saturday"

I think so many people believe a second ref being a remain result is a foregone conclusion when it really, really isn't.

And I think you have no idea what you're talking about. I want to see a second referendum because the first referendum was a vote of "undefined change for the sake of change" vs. "status quo", or in other words, "fucking unicorns" vs. "status quo". Everyone loves the sound of "change" because the status quo sucks, even though there's no promise that the change would be for the better it still gave them hope.

The change is now defined, so the vote will be "detrimental change for the sake of change" vs. "status quo". If the populace still votes for that, fine; they'll get what they deserve. I'm not confident in Remain winning at all, but as long as they know what they're actually voting for I'll accept the result. But the first referendum was utter BS, pitting wishes and dreams against reality.
