Kate McKinnon reveals why she left 'SNL': 'My body was tired'

Yeah, Kenan Thompson has been a consistent part of my life through tv and movies for 28 years. Pretty much my entire life. I can still remember watching every first run episode of All That and Kenan & Kel with my brothers and loving every moment.

I was so stoked to see that he joined SNL when I was in high school and I remember hoping he was going to become a big player. So it's wild that I'm still watching him kill it on SNL well into my 30s.

It seems like SNL was the perfect place for him and I hope he gets to stay as long as he wants to. But at this point it wouldn't surprise me if he's already a frontrunner to takeover when Lorne retires. I'm just speculating here but I think a Lorne retirement would make sense after season 50. So Kenan would have the experience and still be pretty young enough to take on the role.
