Katya's emotional plea about 'racial preferences'

LOL it's easy to use the golden rule if you're a person who never has to encounter a profile or a person that just writes off an entire aspect of you as some sort of dealbreaker. Literally if you're a person who has never had to walk a mile in another person's shoes, using the golden rule doesn't matter because the idea behind treating people the same way they treat you implies that both parties already begin with equal footing. Clearly, in today's society, people don't operate under an equal system.

Also, race 100% fucking applies here. Becoming all "colorblind" and "let's hold hands" won't fix shit. So separating race and skin tone is not gonna fix shit either. I have yellow skin, and I'm asian. There's no "or" here. No one's calling me black or white. When people profile and prejudice me based on my race, they're also judging me based on my skin color and facial features. Skin color and race may be different things, but they are tied very closely together. Yes, race is socially constructed. Race also is also constructed around outward physical features. Being all "colorblind" and saying that you like "the Asian race" and then being all like "oh but I can't date you, because I like boys with blue eyes and fairer skin. Lol, not judging you based on race, I just have preferences for those physical features."

And just because something isn't vocalized doesn't mean it's okay. What, is it okay to be secretly racist or something?

Your shit ain't addin up friend.
