Keanu Reeves would love to make a ‘Constantine’ sequel if someone will let him - interest for the demon-fighting character is still there, the only problem is that Constantine seems to be tied up in a convoluted knot of plans at Warner Bros

Uhm the 80’s and 90’s had successful comic book movies

Which were the exception to prove the rule, and vaguely pointing to their existing isn't the same as actually demonstrating an argument against what I'm saying. Most comic book movies of the era were direct-to-TV deals, the sort we only got access to during the rolling out of DVDs in the 2000s. The Incredible Hulk is a solid example, as is Daredevil (pretty much every Daredevil movie ever made), Captain America, Vampirella, Barb Wire, Steel, Fist of the North Star, Tank Girl, The Phantom, Howard the Duck, The Shadow, Fantastic Four (which has never been made right), Judge Dredd - you can ironically love any of those movies, but they're identifiably awful deviations of the source material, or just cheesy yuk-fests.

That is what I wanted out of you in rebuttal - not your going 'nun-un', I wanted you to try to prove your argument with examples.

And I'm sorry, mate, but that's a solid rebuttal to the rest of your reply - it's just your going 'nun-un, market data', or 'nun-un, so what if you're right about Hitch, you should ignore that'.

I was kind of hoping for better discussion than this at every level.

Fan entitlement is

Fan entitlement is you stepping in and telling me I have to shut the fuck up, because you're a fan of the careless way people have been making these things. And I wasn't incorrect in addressing that.
