Do You Keep Empty Bottles?

I did for memories, until I had to store them at my mothers house for a year and she accidentally tossed em out due to a misunderstanding.

I have now restarted it, but mainly keeping a cork or two, although I have a 1945 Pichon-Lalande bottle.

Amongst the ones that got tossed:

  • Romanée Conti 1995

  • Mouton 82 and 86

  • Bollinger VVF 89

  • Krug Clos de Mesnil 89

  • Yquem 67

  • Chasse-Spleen 61

... and many others that meant a lot for me, like the first great Cru Classe (Barton 2003), my first good Cali (Opus One 91) etc.

God dammit people, hang on to the memorable bottles or at the very least snap a picture to re-kindle the memories and take notes!
