You don't know anything about me and you're making a lot of bad assumptions.

I am clueless as to how my account was hijacked - that's because I know how to stay relatively safe on the internet. Clearly I fucked up, but I don't know where. People make mistakes.

I wasn't being a lazy fuck, asshole. My phone was broken and I needed to access my account, so I had to remove the authenticator. Then, I got busy with life and forgot to put it back on my account. I just got a new IT job and was focusing on that aspect of my life.

Your statement about jagex and DDOSing proves that you don't know what your talking about in that regard. DDOS attacks are very hard to circumvent. It takes a lot of resources that jagex doesn't have available to them.

Shit, a complex DDOS attack doesn't even need a bot net. Just a smart dickhead who knows how to manipulate headers and take advantage of certain flaws.

Thanks for looking out for my safety in regards to the possibility of me having a keylogger using a CC. The first thing I did after realizing my RS account was hijacked was scan all of my systems and they turned up with nothing. Naturally, I already changed all of my passwords and set up 2 step authentication where avaialable.

I already have identity theft monitoring and protection, plus check my credit score each semester when I take out student loans. I should be all set in that dept.

I'm just surprised that someone was able to get my pw, and know that I had the authenticator disabled within a week of me doing so. I don't have a great account, I don't even play very often. It doesn't seem like I'd be someone worthy of being attacked.
