Keeping animals you collected in the wild isn't bad

how do you know the animal is living a more fulfilling life in a house just because it has water, shelters, safety and food from you? this animal is going to be stuck inside your house or around your area for the rest of its life because of you taking it. it cant enjoy the free wilderness while yes is scary has lots of its own benefits. you are likely making it unhealthy as well since it will be inside most of the time. i can conclude that the animal would not live a fulfilling life for itself, and i dont mean it in the same way as humans, just that it being trapped in your household can be torture for it. it is used to the sun, the dirt, grass, trees, water, animals, insects, etc. it needs to be kept in that environment
