Keith Crain’s editorial crusade against bike lanes returns for winter

I will prove it isn't anecdotal evidence with actual photographic evidence.

You taking photographs is still anecdotal.. I could go out myself and take pictures of cyclists using the lanes and immediately cancel out your point.

Unlike your fake numbers that say a few hundred bike riders is greater than 10's of thousands of car drivers.

1) What happened to those drivers? Did they disappear? They’re perfectly capable of driving on Jefferson since car traffic numbers are still well within the limits of the road, as I explained above.

2) My numbers aren’t fake. But if you genuinely think they are, then you should contact SEMCOG and every traffic engineering department in the world to tell them that they’re all being conned and you have the secret truth that no one else knows.

Bike lanes are a trend that will soon pass and governments will do what they do best and spend more money to fix a mistake that shouldn't have happened in the first place.

People once said the same thing about those newfangled automobiles, and look where we are today. But thanks for the laugh.

They could have improved Jefferson by timing the lights but that wouldn't cost anything and nobody would get to cut a ribbon.

That does nothing for public safety, which was the main goal behind a Jefferson road diet.

Where in the city do you live?
