When akira was born he was diagnosed with Ichthyosis vulgaris, a disease that gave him scale like skin.He His whole child hood he had to suffer because of the one thing he couldn't control.The only light besides his family was fighting.Despite the scales ruining his appearance it didn't run his body.The scales developed into to some type of natural armor on his skin.If some one tried to punch they'd only hurt themselfs. His scales gave him a great offense and defense but that doesn't make it perfect.After getting into a fight with another thug he got stabbed in some where unguarded.He doesn't remember he stabbed him.He does remember what he saw after he woke up.The man was the buffest he'd ever seen ,it looked in human.The guy said his name was Samuel Nuemen , and said he teaches krav maga .Akira had never heard of this "krava maga" and so asked about it.Sam just said "if you wanted be a monster you gotta fight like one", he was right.Akira didn't fight like a monster he fought like a corned rat, relying oto much on his scales. Sam invited him for 1 free lesson, and akira too him up on his offer.As soon as the lesson was over Akira begged for another one. Krav maga was something in his life other than fighting to live for. Sam agreed to be his personal trainer. Akira was a natural his scale and inhuman strength helped him in his training.After 5 years of intense training Akira was ready for his first "real match".It was a complted beat down.Akira had knocked out his opponent out cold. After exiting the ring he would to take to sam. Sam just looked up at the sky and said "godzilla", akira was confused at to what his master said."Big ,mean and scaley all over just like you" , and then he said "I just figured out your fighting name".Akira asked "what" , sam only response was "remember when I told you to fight like a monster, well you sure succeeded i doubt I could beat you at this point" .Akira thought about what his master had said.His master was the most strong and brutal person he knew, yet he admitted he was better. Akira then asked "if you were the strongest wouldn't that make you king" , sam responded with a confused yes.Akira had just figured out his name in the ring ,he grinned at his master, looking more like a snake than a human.Sam was confused and asked what he thinking of".Akira just said "I'm not Akira , and I' not and monster, and far above that , I'm king of the monsters"
