I couldn't switch to the defenseman because player switching is broken but also because when I saw it live, I stopped trying to for one second because I thought it was offside, it wasn't and then it was too late to try.

As mentioned above, I thought it was offside when I saw it live, went back to the replay after the game and sure enough, Kessel is clearly offside before he gets possession of the puck. And we're not talking about the human eye here, the computer should always be able to tell if someone is offside.

Ended up winning the game 5-2 (DNF), so I didn't lose any rank. But what made me post this was the thought of someone experiencing this in OT or late in a game. That's what I don't want happening and that's why I thought I would post this, so that maybe one of the devs would see this (although it is Thanksgiving in Canada, so they're probably not checking today) at some point and realize that they need to focus their efforts somewhere else besides the upper lip of Auston Matthews.
