Ketamine finds market as costly off-label option to treat mental disorders - As research shows that the hallucinogen is a potentially powerful treatment for intractable mental disorders, and academics continue to debate its safety, private clinics across the country offer the drug to patients now.

I know this is anecdotal but my ex participated in a ketamine coma trial in Mexico for chronic pain. About 3 months later, she went fucking psycho, I out of her mind crazy. She because super paranoid people from the government were conspiring with her doctor and me against her, and others-- after a few days, she tried to kill her self by overdosing on fentanyl chased will booze-- not a cry for help, I came home from work found her not breathing had to call 911-- they came and all thought she was going to die as she had not been breathing. Was in a coma for a few days. (They tell me if I was even 5 minutes later she would have been brain dead) Then, when she came too, she started accusing me of sexual assault, things like keeping her locked up in the closet, then put me though a year long drawn out divorce where she lied to lawyers and judges about my alleged "abuse" which did nothing but cost me what little savings I had on legal fees...

Anyway, TL'DR, Ketamine could possibly have some great uses and I am all for everything being legal and studied but god damn did that fuck her up permanently.
