Kevin Durant: "Grown men can't come to a game and heckle grown men. That's corny and that's weak..'You soft! You weak! You a bitch!'..You're going to sleep as a grown man doing that to another person?"

He throws a ball in a hoop for a living. It's a spectacularized sport that is often looked up to way too much for what it is. My dad could tell you the entire rosters of every college team for years but will forget my own birthday. No doubt his work ethic probably means he could be good at everything but there's no requirement to being a pro other than playing your position well and consistently, there's no character check, nothing. I really only follow Football and MMA, but sports fans expect too much from athletes in general and WAY TOO MUCH from the top pro athletes. I understand that it is an unavoidable part of being a star athlete, but they train their whole life to be good at one thing and it's usually not empathy or altruism, it's putting a fucking ball in a hoop or catching one and running around people, punching them, whatever.
