Kevin Durant on His Injury, Return to OKC, and the JaVale-Shaq Beef (Ep. 195) by The Bill Simmons Podcast

Thought this comment from r/NBA was interesting:

i haven't listened yet, but this set off my bullshit detector....

KD said he wanted to ask Russ about his family at the all star game, but the cameras and the attention made him not to

if kd wants to talk to russ about his family he can do it whenever he wants. he can't blame the media. he has russ' number and email and facebook and home address and shirt size, and if he doesn't he can easily get it. blaming the media is a cop-out. you want to talk? pick up the phone.

This set off my bullshit detector. Thread OP wasn't quoting Kevin verbatim. Instead of reading snippets, 140-character out-of-context clickbait headline tweets, overblown B/R IG posts, read/listen before making a judgement rather hearing what you wanna hear, and filling in the rest with your own narrative. It's like shitty game of telephone.

This is how fake news gets started. This is why Trump supporters had no idea ACA = Obamacare ("Oh my god, they want to repeal Obamacare? But I'm using it right now!") [I'M EXAGGERATING...]
