Speaking of removing things, I guess he's agreed posting the pics was in bad taste as he's removed them. I've spoken with Roden many times. Never was I impressed. I always have felt the way he presents himself, or moreover, the image that Frack Free and other liberals had of him a few years back and up until recently when it got heated with HB40, is not who he really is. When he's this disingenous with his postings and sarcastic and snarky as he is where you can't get a proper grip on what he thinks, when he even has to lie to his own children becasue he can't manage messagine well enough, what does that say about the guy? He lied to his own children. Has District 1 asked Daddy to be more honest with them as to his real interests? Is it about doing what's best for Denton or what's best for Roden? You should never let your ego grow larger than your position of power. This is what happens. You start to insult even your own town members in efforts to protect yourself. He should be more confident and say things like, "I wish you the best, I am going to focus on the important city matters and do my best." and MOVE THE FUCK ON doing what he does with confidence. Taking pics of residents as they petition for your removal and posting them online in efforts to embarrass or have others potentially harass them all in efforts to get them to stop, is tacky and ironically a page straight out of Big Oil's playbook when it came to Frack Free. Now, he, a politician that IS part of a larger body, is calling these same Frack Free members not grassroots. The guy is slimey.

I never supported Frack Free and found the whole movement to be misguided but now it's fairly apparent that the whole thing was a failure as even Kevin Roden, one of the only chances they ever had on the council has turned heel. Now he's pitting his district against members of other districts becuase they are against him personally. It's about Kevin Roden. Not what's best for Denton. Kevin is protecting Kevin here, leveraging his District against those that also live in Denton. His decisions impact ALL of Denton. The fracking, the convention center, the new power plants. He doesn't JUST affect his district like his brain thinks.
