Kevin Spacey, James Franco, and More Are Trying to Make Comebacks at Cannes

Ar...are you serious? Like, actually?

Look, I am sitting here advocating that it's wrong to demand Roman Polanski not be allowed to make art that is respected anymore and telling people airing their public disgust of him is far more destructive then it is virtuous. Disagreeing with all that at least makes sense, I get it.

But you're seriously going to type out that reply trying to gaslight me into thinking I am crazy for saying the the American justice system doesn't determine its treatment of people based on their race and financial means? Explicitly, you believe the investigation or crimes, arrest or criminals, the bringing of charges, the likelihood of conviction, and the severity of the punishments in the American justice system does not depend on affluance... or race? You're actually insane. It never once occurred to you to ask why do so many more black people "cross lines around social behavior" (hence the racism part; it's easy to believe you've never experienced it, but to not see it is insane)? I mean, it's irrelevant to my argument really, but for you to actually try to claim that is... well, as I say: insane.

Alright. I genuinely appreciate that you don't agree with me.
