Keyword Lists

This is a HORRIBLE idea.

I've mostly been apathetic toward your excessive guide publishing. Like, as many others have pointed out, it's clearly just to make money off of this subs constant supply of newcomers.. but I'm like okay whatever. He clearly is milking this but at least it's not hurting any experienced authors.

But this is really going too far. People don't give out their keywords for a reason. ONE because there has so obviously been a problem with people going blackhat on this public sub and using information in the wrong way, by using popular keywords even if their title is irrelevant. And TWO because keywords in your niche is something you research on your own along the way (which is very doable) and by the time you have the keywords figured out chances are your blurbs are good, covers are good, your material is pertinent. This is potentially just going to flood searches with amateur covers and stories. When I go through my searches now, it's full of clean covers and professional looking stories. So I can't help but think what my readers would feel like going through these same searches and literally having to sift for the stories with some quality because this information is out there for ANYONE who doesn't care about the overall outcome of erotica's success on amazon.

This is a job for most people. Which means it takes WORK to learn it. It's not even that hard to discover what keywords work for you, anyone who is dedicated to this as a career probably has already done so. This is just making it easy for the lazy. You've already documented HOW to find keywords, people can and should be using that, not having it handed over.

Like, I get it, everytime you publish one of these guides you drop to 1k in the rankings and just rake in the money. But it's excessive at this point, you even have an "example book" for people to borrow when it seems you easily could have put a cover/blurb/storyline example literally within the guide. You say it's not about money but that is so evidently not true, considering if you REALLY just wanted to help people you could have waited and worked on your guide slowly until you had ONE guide that dictated all a newbie would need to know. You're the only author I know who has gone this far with it, not to mention you've broken the "only promote every six month" rule multiple times.

You're clearly a successful erotica author, so why don't you just continue to make money on that instead of making some quick cash by breaking one of the cardinal rules in the erotica community: keep your keywords to yourself.
