Kids outgrowing their Disney Mum?

Yeah, I’ve obviously left a heap of things out. I do have my own kids and they are my babies (they’re 6 & 3) but I don’t feel the need to be in constant contact with them or to teach them separation anxiety to the point they don’t want to spend time with their dad. even though we only see SSs EOWE, somehow it’s only ever us organising things like health check ups, teaching them to run their own bath, that not every meal is take away, to make their own breakfast, to remember to actually eat breakfast. For the majority parent, she doesn’t do a lot of parenting.

By outgrowing her I meant that she’s their friend not their mum, and they aren’t going to learn to be responsible adults by her being interested in the same Video games or YouTube videos as them.
