Kids steal candy from my mom's house, flips off camera and drops a "f*ck you"

If they’re not there to hand anything out, then what message are the owners really sending us by not bothering to hand candy out and then posting their pity videos on facepalm?! Honestly, I don’t feel any remorse for people that play the victim when they know very well, they invited that behavior. It’s like if you work in retail and kids are riding store wheelchair carts like Mario Kart, running and tossing items on the ground, spilling items and giggling about it, saying “pick that up!” (yeah, that happened) and you do nothing, thats worser than not being there. If there’s no one to enforce anything, they’ll continue trashing stores. This isn’t that. The candies are owned, by not being there, they’re implying all candies are freebies. And there is an unwritten rule that it’s one candy per person, but as a kid I’d grab one of each type I liked and then moved on if the bowl was left out. I’d not ruin it for everyone else. Many are angry saying these kids are stupid, but as leaving a bowl like to invites more trouble. And after the incident, when kids see an empty bowl, it looks like an empty house with no one to supervise their property. They could leave and if the right person got the wrong idea, doors unlocked, we’re looking at potential burglary.
