I re-read that part and my B, Don Jr doesn't incriminate himself that hard just yet. Basically he was working with Wikileaks who either knowingly or unknowingly was working alongside GRU personas. But if all the intelligence agencies and detective work on Rich is correct and he did not leak the documents, then Assange was indeed working to take the heat off of the GRU by giving credit to Rich. Assange should go and produce some evidence before I will believe him. That's still a big open "but" for me right now, it seems. The report alleges that data transfer evidence and some other evidence discredit the Rich theory, but I haven't got to the latter evidence yet, and I fail to see how the data transfer evidence confirms it didn't come from Rich...but I'll find out when I keep reading.
