Kind of regret buying iPad Pro 12.9 instead of 10.5. Did it took time for you to get used to it?

Looks like plenty of people in here prefer the 12.9, so it seems you have plenty of anecdotes for reassurance.

Unfortunately I don't fall in that camp. I tried the 12.9 but to me it was like carrying around a cookie sheet and the 10.5 is way better for portability. For example, it fits perfectly in a cycling backpack I have where the 12.9 just wouldn't work. I also find the 10.5 much easier to one-hand and it's much more stable when using the Smart Keyboard (12.9 toppled very easily for me), but if you don't use an ASK then this wouldn't apply.

That being said, if portability isn't a concern and you are using this mainly for art and such then the 12.9 is better. Split-screening on the 12.9 is better because you get full iPad apps whereas on the 10.5 you get the iPhone variant. Also the 12.9 has better speakers.

I couldn't hang with the 12.9, but our priorities seem to be different, so maybe the 12.9 will work better for you once you get used to it.
