And I don’t think America is the best county to compare it to, considering USA is post industrial.. Vietnam, South America, … would be countries that might make a useful comparison, considering they are or will be competing w China for work from more advanced countries…

FYI, the Chinese generation which became the mammoth work force it is… I don’t think they view themselves as mindless soulless workboats (work boats?) it’s actually a very interesting ecosystem. Peter Hessler has written a few interesting boats exploring Chinese culture from the inside. Check out one of his books.. maybe you will see they aren’t as stupid as you think there are (based on your assumed projection you made on my comment).
