Kingsley Coman on Bayern: "We had a great game, a really, really big game. We're truly satisfied, we're all happy. We're going to enjoy ourselves well before we refocus for the semi-final. A PSG-Bayern final? That would be beautiful. But before, there's a semi-final. First the semi, then the final."

How many of that Bayern team played a big stage final? I can only think of 2.

not quite correct.

From yesterdays starters:

  • Müller, Neuer, Boateng, alaba, Lewandwoski played cl finals

  • Perisic played and lost a world cup final

  • goretzka and kimmich played and won the confed cup final in 2017

from the substitutes: - Hernandez played and won a world cup final,

  • Coutinho played and lost a europa league final

  • Tolisso was a substitute (73') in a world cup final

  • Süle (90') was a substitute for a confed cup final,

So out of the 16 players who played yesterday only 3 (Davies, Thiago, Coman) never played any kind of big final. If you want to be strict you can leave out the substitutes and the confed cup players and that will still leave you with 8 out of 16 who started a final.
