I knew things were too good to be true.

The thing I’ve found out is the harder I work, and try to make it ahead, the more they want me to do. If I have initiative and do more than my job requires, in addition to my job duties, they love to exploit it rather than see I can do more and promote me or recommend me. I’ve never had a mentor in my life, so the talents I have above an admin are really self-taught so not as good as someone else, but the really really main thing I’ve learned is that most bosses are just not good for me. I don’t respond well to doing work for someone who uses dissatisfaction to motivate people to work more and harder, and that’s never worked if I tried anyhow. So go fuck yourself. I do have a low tolerance for idiots, so I think that’s why bosses and authorities with nothing else going for them like to lean on that. I’ve quit several jobs where I put up with that demoralizing shot for a year or more, tried something new, found the same boss, place after place. The only job I sucked at was commission sales.
