Yoshino flung her legs out of bed, sitting on the edge of it to face Hayato as he sat down next to the bed. A nervous smile appeared on her face, wondering what was coming. Hayato didn't try to sugar-coat it though, and immediately asked her what it was like looking into his mind. There were two things Yoshino could do now, continue her charade of lies or man up and admit which could possibly ruin... whatever it was that they had.

The choice usually wouldn't have been a hard one, she'd lie, lying came easy to her. Yet now she felt that it would screw things up more, Hayato's trust was probably already unstable because of Kahlil and Choziin. She also felt the strange urge to actually be honest with the boy, which was another unfamiliar sensation to her. She was usually only fully honest with Choziin and Shikanui.

"I... I'm sorry" She forced out in a whisper, staring at the floor as she didn't dare look Hayato in the eyes. "I did look yes, while you were sleeping. I wish I could give you a reason for it but it was just curiosity and habit. It seemed so normal to me since it's what I've had to do for the last couple of years while working as a spy. Find my way in to a guy's bed, gather knowledge, leave. The same thing over and over again for years." She muttered, disgusted by how the village had basically ordered her to whore herself out for information and disgusted by how she'd had accepted the job. Those couple of years hadn't been good for her mental health and it was hard now to break from the habits she'd picked up while doing it.

"I wouldn't change it though. If I could go back in time I'd read your mind again, I'd just ask for permission" She said after a slight pause. "Those memories made me feel something, and I haven't felt any proper emotions in years. Without them I would've just left again and I wouldn't be feeling... whatever it is that I'm feeling for you now" She whispered, her eyes tearing up slightly. "Please give me a second chance..."
