Yes, not very successful. haha They would usually hang out in pairs and roam around high traffic areas like Gangnam station and try to hide behind bushes or whatever waiting for any smokers that they could see. Once the perp littered his/her cig butt, the ahjushee would run and pick up the actual butt, flag you down, and give you a ticket (it was pretty steep, like 50,000 won).

Back when I used to smoke, I actually got caught. I showed him my ARC and the guy got all flustered because he realized I was a foreigner (I'm Korean American). I acted like I couldn't understand Korean and the guy just made a dejected face, looked at me, and hand signed the "X" sign. After that, my friends and I would make a game out of it and spot them out and chuckle at the ways they'd try to hide and catch people. It was hilarious (hiding behind electric poles, signs, trees, whatever).

I think he was more disappointed because I wouldn't count in his 'quota'. haha
