Kuo: iPhone 14 Plus Pre-Orders Worse Than iPhone 13 Mini, Product Strategy 'Fails'

So that is what we got in return for discontinuing the mini line. Another tablet sized slab that nobody even cares about because people who want the bigger screen just buy the slightly more expensive but much better Pro Max anyway. The mini was unique, it filled a substantial niche that was without competition. The iPhone 14 Plus has so much competition from both Android and Apple that nobody cares about its existence. And the 5 people who said „I want a lighter 6.7 inch iPhone“ won’t buy it either because they already have a better phone. Everybody said this would be the best seller. Maybe it will sell a little more if it is heavily discounted. Still annoying to have „either or“.
