That is an inexperienced way of viewing how throws work though. If i can speak from my own experience, since about June of last year I've gotten into CS:GO betting quite a bit, one thing you need to understand in order to become a high rolling bettor is how throws work. Most people in the Starcraft scene don't have much experience with this stuff, and can only really detect the extremely obvious throws like MKP letting a hatchery construct in his base (with vision of it) while building 3CCs and scouting no natural expansion + an extreme odd shift against MKP, even then people still aren't sure.

Experienced or practiced throwers wont be so obvious, maybe they'll make a build order mistake that only high end players would be able to catch, or maybe they purposefully stop their army mid-engagement. Does this sound unlikely? Not really considering that these people are apparently getting paid 10K+ to throw, and face potential jail time if they're caught + a removal of their pro-gaming license. In short, you can't judge a throw by the game play, the only thing you can judge it on is by suspicious betting movements. In CS:GO I have around ~1350 matches bet on and I usually bet around ~3k USD per game. The way people bet on these throw matches make absolutely no fucking sense.

If I was a high roller Korean SC2 gambler, why would I only bet on Super on map 1 specifically? (mind you, this isn't "super takes 1 map odds, it's super takes map 1) Then not bet on map 2 and 3? Then it just happens to be the map Innovation loses? Okay maybe lucky, but then how is it that every single time there's a betting odds shift the opponent loses, (another example being Creator vs Soulkey) another bet that is only on 1 specific map.

I don't know for sure if these guys throw, but I watch so many throws week to week on csgo lounge that I've learned roughly how to understand how they work, so I just thought I'd give some insight. If this is truly how these guys bet, they'd be cleaned so fucking hard, but they haven't lost yet, just seems strange to me.
