I don’t think you’re bloodthirsty, I think a certain media machine is having more of a fear mongering effect on people who would otherwise be well natured, virtuous people—like say a teenager having a bit of trouble finding his way. Call folks on the left what you will, but when you throw antifa around as a synonym for “liberal, democrat, communist, and the left” it’s going to look foolish to anyone thinking you’re seriously considering a forthright discussion of material fact.
