Kylie Jenner Lip Kit

This is my first post on here so hi! I just got my Kylie Jenner lip kits today (they took a long time to get the Aus, I ordered mine in the restock where she released 22). It got delivered this morning so I wore Posie K to work and it is really, really worth the effort to get these. I really only bought them because of the hype surrounding them and was expecting average performance out of the product ($29 for a liquid lipstick and liner seemed a bit cheap to me for it to be decent quality) but I am really pleasantly surprised.

There are a lot of reviews out there, Im sure anyone who is reading this thread has probably watched them, so ill keep my review-y points to a minimum.

  • The liner and lipsticks match really well. It 100% takes the guesswork out of choosing the right liner to use and lets you overline your lips really nicely if you are so inclined
  • THE SMELL. It smells amazing.
  • It only required one coat of lipstick, the consistency allowed for a really smooth application and was even quite forgiving of a small dry patch I had on my lower lip. Im also gonna note here that I have slight bruising on my lips at the moment from having a Juvederm top-up done a few days ago and it covered that completely.
  • I didn't have to reapply once throughout the day. It survived 4 cups of coffee, two slices of pizza, smiling at customers all day and drinking 1.5L of water.

  • It is really hard to remove. I used makeup remover, glycolic cleanser and then even a little bit of glycolic scrub on my lips in the shower and I still have a slight hint of Posie K happening.

  • Not a con with all of them, but my tube of Koko K came a little overfilled so when I put the wand back in after swatching it, it overflowed.

Only other thing to add is that the colours are quite dark. If you are fair skinned and haven't got overly naturally pigmented lips, I would probably assume that they are all going to dry darker than you see in the majority of swatches. Griffin Arlund has done reviews of the lips kits on her YouTube channel and for myself, these have been the most accurate representation but everyone is different. All in all, I really think that the lip kits are worth it.
