LA City Council Passes Ban On Homeless Encampments Near Schools And Daycares

Oh yes because I’ve been homeless, I am very privileged. Takes one to know one I suppose, and this won’t do much for the children (that are being used an a scapegoat to push this btw) when crime rates rise as a result. I’ve lived in poor neighborhoods and keeping homeless people away from schools won’t keep them out of said neighborhoods, so the threat you speak of still remains. The only addition is the inevitable anger and frustration felt by the people who will have to relocate as a result of this ruling but hey y’all have fun I’ll just be sitting here eating my popcorn and enjoying the show while it all goes up in flames. I’ll do my best to refrain from the inevitable “I told you so” when we see the full fledged result of this erroneous decision. Lol sometimes it’s fun to watch a train wreck right?
