Lab-Grown Meat - Meat produced without killing animals is heading to your dinner table. Also called clean meat, it could eliminate much of the cruel, unethical treatment of animals and reduce the considerable environmental costs of meat production.

People used to die all the time from tainted meat before we mandated protocols to reduce infection

First of all, a few people used to die 'all the time' from tainted meat. They did not begin to survive because of mandated protocols, and in fact the largest recalls of tainted products ever originated from large industrial producers with very strict protocols. We survive because we've learned exactly what causes tainting and to be more careful with it.

I have absolutely no way to Gerty how healthy your or your family are. Hell I can't even verify if you have a family. That isn't good evidence in the slightest.

You don't need to verify if I have a family. You could kindly assume that I'm here to try and teach you something that you continue to make clear you don't know. The fact that humans exist today after eating meat forever is proof enough that the bulk of us have been careful enough with our butchering to avoid a significant amount of deaths.

And just to give you another anecdote (that you won't accept because it doesn't fit your strangely narrow narrative), I live in a small, rural village in Central America where people have been raising and processing their own animals for hundreds of years without any 'mandated protocol' from the government. Tradition and reputation serve as more effective guides for sensible behavior. No one ever gets sick from tainted meat there. No one has committed suicide either, or needs to take pills just to get through the day. It's a vibrant, healthy, interdependent community that thrives in spite of government's attempts to enforce unnecessary rules.

You're welcome to do as you see fit, just don't assume that your vision applies to every place on Earth. Some of us are doing quite well, thank you.
