Every business I or my loved ones have worked for since the '08 crash has capped hours at 25-35 hours a week, specifically to deny their workers fulltime benefits. And they always preferred to force you out and replace you rather than give annual raises.

The only jobs that gave me and my pals hours were seasonal temp, government, or tied to military logistics (read aircraft)

They've been running skeleton crews ragged for 12 years, and now that demand for goods and services has spiked, their pathetic house of cards can't bear the traffic.

Bastards just don't want to pay for labour, demand for which has increased the value of it's supply. And since they believe in socialism for themselves but not for us, they feel entitled to whine that we aren't coming back to help them for the peanuts they gave us ten years ago.
