Labrador with moments of "rage"

Thanks for your post and provided resources.

We could be overdoing it with exercise. We try to wear her out a bit because she has so much energy all the time. Even after a full day at day care (once a week) she is non stop when we get home.

Her bites vary on the circumstance. She's drawn blood on me several times but I wouldn't say she has full on put all her teeth in my arm. I looked at the Scale you proved and I couldn't quite fit her actions into a specific level. It's like she bites. Then nips. She stops because it visibly scares me. She calms down. Then we start walking again and it happens once again.

With training we do it in 5 minute increments not to overwhelm her. She does very well with that. We have invested a lot of time in loose leash walking as well. Which she does well with.

In the park she has her moments but as soon as she sees that "she won." She acts normal again and plays very well with others. Even with toys involved. It's just when it DOES happen. She gets scary.

When I referred to dogs I get up with I wasn't assuming those are naturally "aggressive dogs." I meant that they liked to play rough and fast, but they knew their limits.

We have talked to trainers and our vet about the situation and they don't seem concerned from knowing her.

We continuously use positive reinforcement, but we feel like she is playing us for treats at times. Even after a manic freak out if I say "sit" she does. And is extremely calm and put together. But then once she gets what she wants it's a free for all.

We'll take a look into the articles provided. Thanks.
