Is the labyrinth tedious as hell for anyone else?

Dude. The fucking Labyrinth took me two hours to do last night. I could have watched a majority share of Schinder's List in that time. I forgot about it until I landed in Cruel and went back at L40 or 41, figuring it'd be a straight shot to the end.

Nope. So much backtracking. So much confusion finding the right exit. Because I was so overleveled, there wasn't a single difficult fight until Argus, and that guy was harder than Cruel Malachai... in a Normal zone. I would have died had I not run away from the fight to kill trash mobs in the zone to refill flask charges.

Finally get to the end, trudge through an Izaro fight where I only have a single strip of safe land in the center, and two hours after I'd entered the Labyrinth, I had two treasure keys. Just two. After all the time invested. One of the chests did drop three uniques but since this was a L33 zone they weren't good.

I put an enchantment on my gloves and dipped out. Yes: I forgot to get my fucking Ascendancy points after all that.

There was no UI prompt for it. The area to do it is quietly off to the side and able to be run past without seeing it. I walked right by it and it didn't occur to me until after I'd left that I'd forgotten my points. I jumped back into the Labyrinth hoping the one I'd run would still be there but of course it wasn't.

Talk about a bad first impression. I'm pretty miffed about the whole thing after that. It seems like the all things regarding the Labyrinth are best left until you've reached A4M Dried Lake or maps, and even then you'll have to dedicate several hours of your life to get through it multiple times in one sitting. Bleh.
