Lacking job references

Never said I was being begged to apply, that’s how you put it. I was only looking at 2 districts by the way. One of which is my hometown and the other in the town my college is in, Take offense? That’s literally life. They’re not gonna hire me to work at a grocery store or clothing store when I have a bachelor’s degree. I know because they tell people they’re over qualified for cashier positions. Cashiers are pretty much the only luck you’ll have with part time jobs in a college town. I’m not being presumptuous, but if places need teachers, they’ll hire you right away. I’m getting certified in SPED, a place where one of the districts is giving sign on bonuses because it’s not a big town where people are moving to. I may not have held a real job before, but trust me, student teaching has been the best experience I could have ever asked for. If I’m not going to get into without top tier credentials, then why are people calling my mom and dad asking and telling them I’ll get hired so I can start in January after graduation? If anything, you’re being extremely presumptuous. I’m done here. I’m sure you and your district are just so much fun to talk to.
