So, kind of late and will probably get buried. But my ex was a crazy, manipulative a-hole. We dated around 8 months in high school and I put up with his crazy way too long. Anyways, after I finally broke up with him. He threatened suicide, threatened to tell my parents I wasn't a virgin, threatened to make all my friends hate me etc. Told me I was a bitch, cunt, ruined his life, etc. Then about 3 weeks later came up to my locker and handed me a journal and said if this won't prove my love for you nothing will. I took it, and read it. It was a completely fake journal, I assume he spent the past 3 weeks writing it. The first entry was literally 5 pages long and supposedly written the day he asked me out. It went on and on about he had always been a manly man who didn't need to write in a diary, but that day forever changed him and he knew he had to keep track of every detail of our love story for the movie they would eventually make about us.

He had entries every week or two but nothing was in chronological order, most of it was just long tirades about he knew he would die without me. But then would switch to blaming me for all of his crazy outbursts. He constantly wrote about how he knew he was being an asshole to me, but I deserved it because I just wouldn't stop doing things that made him angry. He said I didn't understand his "passions" and that he couldn't trust any of my old friends (I had just switched high schools) because he could tell they were all whores who would encourage me to cheat (none of them had gone beyond their first kiss, not that it matters, but still)

Then, when I gave him back the diary, told him I still didn't love him and had no intention of getting back together he stood in the parking lot of our school and just screamed, at the top of his lungs. Then he walked away. It was a Friday that day, so later on I was hanging out at my best friends house when I start getting all these texts, first that he isn't feeling well. He says he's sick and needs me to pick him up from the mall. I didn't respond. About half an hour later he texts again. He says he had a heart attack at the mall. He's at the hospital and the doctors told him it was caused by a broken heart. This was my fault, he had a heart attack and I needed to go to the hospital to see him. He'd meet me in the parking lot of the hospital so he could forgive me for leaving him in his time of crisis, because you know, they totally let you hang out in the hospital parking lot after you had a heart attack 40 minutes ago.

I didn't respond to him. I just called his mom who I was very friendly with. I said he txted me saying he was in the hospital and I was very concerned. Maybe she should call him.

I didn't get any texts from him again. But he did keep spreading nasty rumors about me
