Ladies of Reddit, what’ve you been doing recently to keep yourself busy in lockdown?

  • Watching anime - my 2020 recs are Dorohedoro, Fruits Basket & Toilet-bound Hanako-kun.

  • Watching some really good comedic shows e.g. Derry Girls, Man Like Mobeen, The Goldberg's & Fleabag.

  • Rewatching nostalgic shows from my childhood/teen years such as Kim Possible & Avatar The Last Air Bender.

  • Reading a ton of books & manga - including rereading a whole bunch of my old faves.

  • Rewatching all the Pixar movies in release order.

  • Writing for fun.

  • Learning how to make some of my favourite sweet treats e.g. Tres Leches Cake, Salted Caramel Sauce & Pistachio Barfi.

  • Experimenting with my cooking e.g. adding apples to my caramelized onion roast chicken, drizzling honey on top of my spicy chicken & red onion pizza, making the roux for my mac & Cheese with roasted garlic, using ghee instead of goose fat for my roast spuds.

  • Improving my squat form.

  • Ruthlessly but thoughtfully decluttering, curating & reorganising all my belongings.
