Lady brings untrained dog into store, untrained dog does what untrained dogs do best. Pee on $80 designer jeans!

Stores can’t ask for proof, regardless of what disability the person has- they can ask: 1. Is that a service dog?
2. What tasks does it perform? If the person answers those questions, the store can’t ask for anything- not what the disability is, proof of disability, for the dog to demonstrate a task- you can only legally ask the two questions. However, that’s only for service dogs- absolutely you can tell people with “emotional help dogs” or “emotional service animals” that they aren’t allowed in, as ESA’s don’t have public access. Also for legit service dogs, you can still kick them out if they’re behaving badly (peeing on something, barking, being aggressive, etc).
