Is the lady of Lourdes hospital in drogheda, the worst hospital in the country, they seem to be in the news more often than others, and it's never good news regarding them.

I don’t know if this is a common thing or or but a couple of reasons why I hate it:

My granda was in it in 2018, he had dementia. He didn’t understand he was in hospital , so he’d often get up and try to leave his ward. Came in to visit him one day and he was sitting on the chair beside his bed, strapped into it, panicking and trying to get out, distressed af. They had just left him strapped to his chair because they didn’t wanna stop him from trying to leave anymore. Now I know he was hard to handle but that was horrific, the guy didn’t understand he was in hospital like

Then the evening he died, my mam was up visiting and she could tell he was in pain, as if he was having a heart attack. She tried to get a nurse and they told her she’s fine, they just checked on him. My mam tried to get their help multiple times

THEN when he did die, he died in a ward full of other people because his bed “wouldn’t fit through the door” to get him to a private room. He died around 11pm. They left his dead body there until 10am the next morning. In a ward full of other people.

So yep. I hate the Lourdes
