Laid off or affected by the pandemic? I'm running a free 5 week live Web Development Bootcamp to help folks discover if a career in tech could be their next move. I would love to have you join!

Shoot, I feel like I'm a little late to the party!

I've been trying to switch careers and it's been very challenging to do so being a first-generation Croatian-American woman with a retail background and a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (It feels pretty much impossible). I was planning on going back to retail as the pandemic started, and don't feel safe or secure doing so at the moment (Whether or not retailers will be operating in the fall feels up in the air, and I'm not sure my chances are so great if I get sick, being asthmatic). So it's freelancing design work, CS50, and freecodecamp for the time being.
It means so much that people like you are helping people who struggle finding opportunities in tech. People like you help people like me feel inspired and like there are people out there who are willing to give us chance to succeed. Thank you so much for being committed to teaching others what you know!!!
