Lana Wachowski Is the New Face of Marc Jacobs Collection

here's the thing, i really, really don't give a shit about skin color, i don't hate black people, and i have no ill will or any intent to harm. and that is key, because intent matters, in court its the difference between getting of on self defense and being executed for murder.

this is the thing that is getting mixed up by this new wave of sudo-equality, anything that goes near race that someone doesn't agree with is deemed racist, anything that is not pro black and automatically in agreement with BLM is deemed racist, all white people are deemed racist. grow up. you can't have your cake and eat it too, if you want to sit at the adult table, you need to fucking act like one and realize that not everything is an insult or racist. when you are trying to make everything about race, you will begin to see everything as racist.

this isn't some ideological concept either, this is just how to be an adult, if you flip your shit at every little comment that you dont' agree with then you will end up depressed, angry, and frustrated. if you accept that not everyone agrees with you, and that sometimes people say things that can bother you, but instead you let it go and forget about it, you will start to live happier and more stress free, i know this because i've been been where you are mentally with trans issues and its toxic, it infects every part of you and will ruin your life in the long run. im not disregarding racism, im saying you need to grow a thicker skin, not to justify racism, but to build a tolerance to it so it doesn't affect you anymore.

people don't harass me about being trans, and the reason is because i don't let them, when people see that their insults really don't bother me, they stop trying and just move on. but if you try and suppress things you don't like, you will never build up that thick skin, and never be able to stand on your own.

racism is the intentional discrimination of a group based on race. this can go in any direction, racism is not by definition white people oppression blacks, that is a result of racism, but not racism itself. if you don't understand this, get a dictionary and look it up, it doesn't mention skin color. black people can be racist, asians and japanese in particular are notoriously racist, these are not racist statements, but statements of fact, and it doesn't make me racist for stating them. nor does standing on my own, i will never side with white supremacists or the KKK, but that doesn't mean im going to be one of those white kids at a BLM protest who get bullied into not acknowledging anything negative about the racism against whites being carried out by BLM.

tl;dr stop using the racism card to bully people into not standing up against you and go be your own unique awesome person.
