Land area the size of countries burnt to the ground in Australia, while millions have been cut in fire fighting services.

There's no way sourced facts are real eh?

From one of those sources:

For Australia as a whole, it was the second-driest January–November on record, coming in behind January–November 1902.

January to November rainfall, 2019

There are definitely impacts from climate change and it's been a brutal year for Australia and the forest fires were extensive but they make up a few hundred pixels in that image. ~71,000sqkm throughout the entire country... NSW makes up the bulk of that image, which is 809,444sqkm. A lot of what burned wasn't forest either, it was grassland which burns fast and large but grows back very quickly once it rains.
